Prayers, Poems, Music and the latest news about Father Jean-Juste and Haiti's political situation
Music by Freedom Song Network
Fr. Jean-Juste is one of Haiti's most respected human rights advocates. November 21 marked four months since he was illegally arrested and imprisoned. The coup regime in Haiti refuses to release him, despite having no evidence of wrongdoing. December 10 is Human Rights Day. There will be a large demonstration in Miami on this day for the release of Fr. Jean-Juste and all of Haiti's political prisoners. Please join us for this candlelight vigil in solidarity with our courageous brother, and with the Haitian community in Miami.
Free will offering to support Fr. Jean-Juste's work among impoverished children and the work of the Haiti Action Committee.
Cosponsored by Trinity United Methodist Church of Berkeley.
For more information call 510-483-7481
Be sure to continue circulating the petitions to the Catholic Bishops about Jean-Juste, sent separately.
Prayers for Father Jean-Juste and all Haitian political prisoners will be said at various worship services in the Bay Area on the weekend of December 10 --joining these congregations, too, with this modest but important activity for Haiti on both coasts.\
